Tugas English Course : Cibacang

Ini adalah cerita Bahasa Inggris pertama yang aku buat, jadi mohon dimaklum kalau banyak banget kesalahan, orang bahasa inggris aku pas – pasan dan masih harus banyak belajar. Sedikit sejarah tentang pembuatan cerita ini, jadi Jum'at lalu 13 Sept 2013 Mr. Brett yang merupakan guru English Course dari IEDUC yang sedang mengajar di AbadiNusa memberikan homework aliar Pekerjaan Rumah. Homeworknya itu bikin cerita yang original buatan sendiri, ngga tau kenapa akhirnya aku kepikiran untuk bikin cerita tentang legenda kampung cibacang yang merupakan kampung halaman ayahku. Dulu ayah pernah bilang di Cibacang banyak banget pohon bacang, jadi aja tempat itu disebut cibacang. Nah biar ceritanya ngga garing, aku ngarang – ngarang deh sampai akhirnya jadi cerita ini. Jadi kapanpun suatu saat nanti kamu baca atau denger cerita ini, ini cerita udah pasti buatan aku yaa.. hehehe ... Bahkan tokoh ceritanya juga diambil dari nama keluarga. Euis Nia itu diambil dari nama Bibi dari ayah, Sukrawinata dan Nanih Sukaenah adalah Kakek dan Nenek dari ayah.

Ini cerita tadi siang udah dikirim by email ke Mr Brett tinggal kita tunggu aja ada berapa banyak kesalahan yang aku buat di cerita ini. Hihihihi ,,, Tapi teteplah seneng juga bisa dapet inspirasi dan nulis cerita ini :)

Cibacang

Once upon a time, at somewhere in west jave lived a young beautiful girl named Euis Nia. She is a nice and friendly girl, she likes to help everyone but the most thing she like is planting a delicious Bacang Fruit. She had more than 20 tree of Bacang Fruit in her back yard and every morning she always pour water on her Bacang Fruit with Joyful Feeling.

Her Parents Sukrawinata and Nanih Sukaenah were so happy because what they taught to planting tree when Nia just a kids still she do until know and they so proud of her. And the fun moment for Nia and Her Parents are when they reap a nice Bacang Fruits and divide them to all neighbor.

But one day, they all got the sad moment when they place stricked by drought, to get clean water is so difficult, they have to climb to get wellspring on high hills. But when Nia sat alone at her back yard in the morning she look there a line of ants toward to small holes bottom of Bacang Tree. And in the longer there more line of ants toward to the holes. It makes her curious about what happend inside the holes. Then she peek in to the holes but it's too dark and she can't saw anything, but she had an idea she took a branch of Bacang Fruit and enter the branch in to the hole. Guess what she found? The branch wet because water inside the hole.

Nia so exiting and tell her parents those good news. Her parents so exited as well as Nia, then her Father took his hoe and start digging at center of back yard. Day goes by and changed be afternoon, Sukrawinata had dug for 5meter, the ground is wet but the wellspring not appears yet.

At the evening, Nia and her parents go back to their house for a rest. Sukrawinata will start digging again at tomorrow morning. In the next morning, Nia was shock about what she saw from her window. There many people digging at back yard with her Father. And when the sun right above them, appear spurt of the water from the hole that made by her father and neighbor. The water so fresh and clean, Nia so happy and she suddenly hug her mother then they both cry together for this happiness.

Since that day, their place never lacks of clean water and their land more fertile than before because the people save clean water by planting trees like what Nia and Family's do. Everyone happy and always give their farm produce to Nia because they love Nia so much for Nia's kindness and good personality.

Unfortunenatly, 2 years later Nia had attacked by unknown desease, her body so thin and her face become sunken, her parents do their best to healing their lovely daughter but God have another wills. Nia pass away 3 months later, everyone felt sad and lost. Then for remember her kindness their named the place "Cibacang". Cibacang made by two word, they are Ci and Bacang, Ci is water in Sundanese and Bacang taken from tree of Bacang Fruit. So, cibacang is water of Bacang Tree.
